Selling Through Our Shop

Selling your whisky through our exclusive online shop is a fantastic way to showcase rare or high‑value bottles to serious collectors. Unlike private sales or auctions, this is a slower option, as it can take upto twelve‑month plus to achieve a sale depending on the price sought.   Throughout this time we build a strong, targeted advertising campaign around your bottle.

During this period, your bottle will appear on both our website and our sister company The Little Whisky Shop based in Stockbrigde Hampshire and will spend time on display in the shop helping it stand out to whisky enthusiasts.

How It Works

  1. Send Us Your Photos
    You share images of your bottle, and we carry out a full valuation.
  2. We Assess Suitability for Our Shop
    If we believe your bottle is a good fit for our curated online collection, we will offer you a place on the shop. There is no obligation to proceed. We will also suggest a suitable listing price.
  3. We Issue Your Sales Contract
    Once you accept, we prepare a contract authorising us to list and sell your bottle through our online shop.
  4. Send Us Your Bottle
    You can ship your bottle to us using our insured postage service or opt for your own secure hand‑courier service.
  5. Professional Photography & Listing
    When your bottle arrives at our office, we will have it professionally photographed and create a detailed listing on our shop. We ask sellers to allow up to twelve months for the right buyer to come along.
  6. A Collector Makes a Purchase
    When a buyer purchases your bottle online, we handle the entire transaction on your behalf.
  7. You Receive Your Payment
    Once the sale is complete, we promptly send your payment.

Commission

This service carries a 10% selling commission. While it takes longer than other selling routes, it provides your rare or collectible whisky with premium visibility offering the potential for an excellent return.
